RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Demand & Supply planning, Forecasting & Budgeting
2.Interface with inside sales / customer support teams for coordinating with customers delivery schedules etc;
3.Supply chain & Material planning;
4.Prepare time plan for procurement based on schedules, identifying critical area, bottle necks & capacity constraints;
5.Ensure Customer on time deliveries. Take necessary measures / corrective actions in case of deviations;
6. Responsible for managing deliverables of the pre & post sales responses in terms of Dispatch / Shipment plans;
7.Interact with purchase & sales/marketing for demand forecasting process;
8.Set inventory norms & monitor inventory levels across different products;
9.Ensure maintaining of safety stock, Set order / reorder levels for all class of items. Study consumption trends & no stock outs at any time;
10.Perform slow moving / fast moving, non-moving stock analysis and appraise mgmt. for action;
11.Master production scheduling, Creates production schedule and prioritizes job-orders for production optimization;
12.Follow-up as required with all teams to expedite flow of materials and documents to meet production schedule and customer expectation;
13.Complete status reports for production progress, work in process, and raw material inventory;
14.Interacts with shop floor management on a daily basis to resolve issues regarding manufacturing efficiencies or additional information as requested from Manufacturing, Customer Service and Accounting;
15.ERP Process maintenance and improvement;
16.May be asked to perform other duties at a higher level of proficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1.7-9 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
2.Strong quantitative and analytical skills; familiar with logistics and production planning concepts (e.g., just-in-time, materials requirement planning);
3.broad range of computer skills—database, spreadsheet, statistics applications, understand contracts and tariffs; self-directed; ability to communicate findings, make recommendations, and facilitate change;
4.ERP PP and WH modules
Inventory control tools and processes.
APICS Certification preferred.
