General Position Description

The service engineer is responsible for the jobsite service, training and technical support, promptly responding to the customers’ service needs and addressing the breakdowns in a good sense of urgency, quality and cost-efficiency.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

* Communicate with the Regional Supervisor and customer regarding the status of equipment. Meet the demands of the customer by providing service and technical support that meets or exceeds our customers’ expectations, ensuring that the equipment also meets all Genie (Terex AWP) requirements.
* Be flexible and versatile in the ability to change priorities to meet the demands of the China Commercial Team.
* Report any customer damage to the Senior Service Manager and ensure the equipment is repaired timely and the customer is charged for the repair and down time as per Genie procedures.
* Track all service calls in a call log and ensure work orders are opened and closed timely.
* Establish and maintain good relation with key customers and actively pursue all service business opportunities.

Experience & Qualifications

* College degree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines.
* Good command of English and Mandarin Chinese both in speaking and writing.
* 5 years+ of quality service experience in heavy engineering machine industry.
* Excellent troubleshooting skills with good knowledge and/or experience in all aspects of repair (electrical, hydraulic and engine etc.)
* Strong understanding and sense of safety.
* Ability to coach, develop and training.
* Holder of the driving license C.
* Customer focus, high standard of quality and strong flexibility with working hours and travel.
* Willingness to move to other jobsite city according to business demands is a plus.

Estimated Travel

* 70% of the time travelling within the allocated region and other places in China.
