Forming part of KPMG's audit practice, the Financial Services group, both locally and internationally has been growing rapidly in recent years, especially across China. The Financial Services line of business incorporates Banking & Finance, Insurance, Securities and Investment Management. This is a challenging and highly competitive market place offering considerable opportunity as clients expand their business not only in China but globally.

Responsibilities

- Leading a team or assisting audit-in-charge in carrying out quality audit, IPOs and other assurance services to clients in the consumer and industrial markets, covering retail, food and drink, consumer products, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, energy and natural resources and industrial and automotive products China and Hong Kong SAR

- Managing a team of professionals to deliver quality audit and other assurance services to audit clients

- Regular meetings with clients to obtain updates on their business, discussing issues and presenting audit findings

- Visiting client's operation, on-site to gain a further understanding of their business

- Providing coaching and constructive feedback to team members

- Playing a key role in preparing audit proposals and presentations

- Ongoing learning and development by attending professional training

Experience

- Qualified accountant with at least 3 years audit experience with a major firm

- Strong business awareness and an ability to identify audit issues arising from commercial transactions

- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, Cantonese and / or Mandarin

- Team player

- Ability to multi-task, be flexible and work under pressure

- Socially confident with good diplomacy and organisation skills

- Self starter with good analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem solving

Responsibilities:
*Work with Managers/Senior Managers to identify training needs, design training courses and evaluate the progress and effectiveness of training programmes.

*Facilitate and deliver quality training programmes to B grade and below, covering induction programmes, intern, client management, project management and other awareness programmes as required to staff.

*Ensure training content and materials meet training needs relevant to the staff grade and continuously provide input to programme managers to improve the quality of training courses by monitoring participant feedback and enhancing course materials to fit local business needs.

*Managing compliance reporting, including CPD and other requirements.

*Liaising with key stakeholders on deployment of technical programmes, including risk management and other awareness training.

*Coordinate with L&D teams across China offices, and other departments to manage and support ad hoc projects, initiatives and events.

*Work with external service providers to identify appropriate learning opportunities.


Experience:

*At least 3 years' relevant experience in delivering technical or management skills training, especially in large organisations

*Proven track record of delivering training programmes in PRC

*Deep knowledge of technical or management skills topics

*Excellent presentation and facilitation skills in English and Chinese
*University degree in human resources development, adult learning, business management or other related disciplines.

*Certification or accreditation in relevant technical or management programmes

*Strong communication skills

*Confident and articulate interacting with all levels of partners and staff

*Broad perspective and logical approach to problem-solving

*Flexible and calm under pressure

*Mature, proactive and collaborative team player

*Mobile and willing to travel
