Description: This position is reporting to Merchandising Manager and locating in Shenzhen. The position is responsible for correspondence with customer sourcing teams and US team. The position will work closely with US product and sales teams managing individual global requirements of set up for items with retail partners, and managing and preparing internal and retail specific buy trips.

Responsibilities:

· Be able to become knowledgeable in US and European consumer and industry trends, competition environment, retail customer needs, and manufacturing complexities for specified product categories.

· Provide analytical breakdowns to support production and order updates.

· Negotiate with current and new supplier for competitive prices and terms.

· Contact with suppliers and partners to facilitate problem resolution.

· Contact and support customers’ offices in Asia

· Assist product teams with short term and long term (at least 3 years) strategic plans for product lines that fit the company’s brand strategy and private label plans.

· Frequent communication with US team by Skype, email, and telephone required.

· Manage daily communication between US and China offices for product and customer related issues, ensuring your availability for updates.

· Capable of organizing buy trips to China by Product, Sales and Retail partners.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree majoring in business or English or related

· Excellent communication and presentation skills with English (listening, writing, and speaking)

· Minimum of 3yrs experience manufacturing and 5 years for merchandising or sourcing

· Previous employment of sizeable US buying office or trained firm for US market is preferred

· Strong understanding of expectations in servicing the retail industry and sourcing teams preferred

· Strategic approach with attention to detail

· Product knowledge of outdoor product related goods appreciated,such as camping chair,tent,hammock...

· Responsible and flexible work schedule needed

· Customer Service minded approach
