Our teams in IFS include: Administration, Branded Merchandise, Business Development, Finance, Global PwC Experience, Global Technology Solutions, Human Resources, Marketing & Communications, Office of General Counsel, Research, and Senior Partner Office.
Job responsibilities:
Our Human Capital professionals drive the firm’s people strategy, create a unique people experience, and work with the business to drive success in the marketplace. Human Resources support our people in reaching their full market value which then sets PwC apart as the distinctive Firm.
The National Internal Firm Services (IFS) HR Leader delivers superior human capital services in support of our internal clients’ business objectives and consistently with our Firm policies and values across Mainland China and Hong Kong. This HR Leader leads and manages a national HRBP team to support the business and helps the firm to deliver on its strategy.
The National IFS HR Leader executes people engagement strategies by working collaboratively with business and Human Capital Leadership to ensure full alignment with business and people priorites, objectives, and Business Unit needs. This includes reporting and analysing key data to identify specific opportunities and drive innovation, whilst being concious of possible risks. This role is also responsible for maintaining activities across the Human Capital value chain and executing IFS operations including overall performance management and development of IFS function professionals. He or she is also required to propose and deliver on innovation and transformation to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and client satisfaction.
The National IFS HR Leader will:
- Work with the Firmwide Operations Partner, Firmwide Human Capital Director, and IFS functional unit leaders to plan and develop the annual IFS people strategy and priorities, in line with firmwide and business strategy
- Be a strategic business advisor on HR and people issues to IFS functional groups; provide effective people management guidance, coaching and tools to assist IFS functional leaders and teams in coaching, developing and retaining their staff
- Lead and manage various people initiatives with other HR functional teams, including talent acquisition, performance management, people engagement survey, compliance requirements across IFS, as well as the people agenda of the IFS transformation
- Plan, monitor, and provide support and guidance for the execution of annual performance management processes including: development planning, periodic performance reviews, the annual year-end cycle inclusive of promotion decisions, and individual compensation reviews
- Facilitate talent management and development related programs across IFS functions
- Provide guidance and support IFS functions with employment related issues including contract non-renewals, underperformer management, counseling out, and disciplinary action where required
- Work with IFS functional leaders to improve people engagement across functions and offices
- Daily management and coaching for a team of IFS HR professionals across mainland China and Hong Kong offices
Reporting structure & key relationships:
- Reports to Human Capital Director
- Partners within the HR function including LoS HR Leaders, and HR functional teams
- Key member of the Human Capital Leadership Team with accountability to the overall HR function
- Maintains strong relationships with key HC stakeholders, Market HR Leaders, and IFS stakeholders including the Firmwide Operations Partner and IFS Functional Leaders
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree with 10-12 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist, preferably in a multinational corporation or professional services firm
- Experience with HR strategy, performance management, people engagement, total rewards and related areas preferred
- Experience with leading and coaching a team of HR professionals
- Strong consultative skills with an ability to build and leverage strong relationships
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects under deadlines while maintaining quality of work delivered
- Ability to communicate, influence and collaborate with leaders, executives, and other stakeholders
- Demonstrated attention to detail and research, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
- Proficient in MS Office particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Experience with using Lotus Notes is desirable
- High proficiency in verbal and written English; Mandarin and/or Cantonese skills preferred
