POSITION SUMMARY:
Based in Shanghai, this position is responsible for supporting the financial and operational internal controls in China which supports Royal Caribbean’s business and office operation in Greater China (Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Hongkong).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for General Accounting, Accruals, Provision and revenue calculation, etc., coordinate with all sub-ledger function team; be responsible for ensuring trial balance accuracy, continuously improving monthly financial closing process
2. Prepare monthly/yearly reports according to management requirement; Assist other functions for other reporting preparation & submission in a timely and accurately manner
3. Prepare local PRC financial reports and ensure timely month-end/year-end close; Conduct monthly closing and reporting processes efficiently with high quality; complete any ad hoc manual adjustment required by management; Ensure that all financial statements and reports are in accordance with rules and regulations of PRC government/tax bureau and US GAAP
4. Prepare variance report of US GAAP and PRC GAAP monthly
5. Assist and support the internal and external financial auditing team; Be responsible for annual audit work, report and annual CIT tax filing; Help Admin department to complete annual inspection to the governments; Implement internal audit remediation plan
6. Finish the balance sheet accounts reconciliation on Monthly basis
7. Be responsible for fixed assets management and calculate the accumulated depreciation correctly; Work together with other related departments to have the onsite checking
8. Be responsible for G&A and S&M contract management and registration
9. Be responsible for TA’s refund process and improving process timely
10. Maintain and update COA based on Global requirement monthly
11. Review supplier master file monthly and provide inactive supplier report to Address Book Coordinator on quarterly basis
12. Manage and control cash resources including cash flows, banking activities and other treasury functions; Be responsible for managing and controlling all the foreign currency related issues and communicating with SAFE regularly
13. Be responsible for internal control, statutory compliance and procedure management
14. Influencing and driving the accounting and cross-functional process improvement with business partner
15. Ensuring that Paperwork and Filing is up to date; Assist finance department to finish assigned project timely

QUALIFICATIONS:
? Bachelor degree with major in accounting or finance
? Minimum of five years of work experience in General Ledger accounting.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
? Must be proficient in English and Mandarin, written and oral
? Good knowledge of Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office and ERP systems are essential. Knowledge of JDE preferred
? Knowledge of Chinese accounting or tax laws and regulations
? Excellent communication and analytical skills
? Excellent influencing and problem solving skills
