Responsibilities:

- To be responsible for the management of IT teams in multiple locations, and supporting daily operation of a massive film vfx production environment that has hundreds of workstations, storage clusters, render farm, as well as large in-house software code-base.
- Analyse IT needs. Set up priorities and goals. Report to management committee periodically of IT resource status, upcoming needs and budget.
- Planning of short-term to long-term IT infrastructure improvement. Lead IT infrastructure build-out in new office or new business lines. Source equipments and solutions for the need of OA and vfx production.
- Work with film vfx production tech teams like pipeline TDs in developing tools and infrastructure to support massive vfx production.
- Work with non-production/operation departments like accounting, resource management team in developing system to collect and analyse production/operation data, streamline work flows, provide basis for decision-making.
- Work with top film studio to realize IT security best practice. Manage external vfx vendor to ensure IT security of our data and info.
- Management of IT vendors and external IT services providers.

What You Need for this Position:

- At least 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, preferably in entertainment/film/game industry.
- Deep knowledge in infrastructure design, linux/unix/windows mixed environment, large scale data storage cluster and network deployments, database, directory services, auditing, performance monitoring.
- Ability to be flexible in a fast-paced environment balancing multiple tasks and changing priorities.
- A team player and team leader. Proactive in seeking solutions, innovative thinking, result-driven, seeks continuous improvement in job related areas and self deployment.
- Strong skills of communication and time management, excellent written and verbla skills in English and Chinese, ability to work independently under pressure.
- Office technology (Intimately familiar with Internet tools and strong proficiency in intermediate Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Fluent English. You will be working with people from all around the world.

Preference to applicants with:

- Knowledge of ITIL.
- Linux system administration experience. Strong bash scripting. RHCE certificate.
- Perl, Java, Python, MySQL. Nagios, Ganglia. Puppet, Chef. VMWare/Openstack/Cloudstack private cloud experience.
- Opensource project participation.
