Roles and Responsibilities
-Responsible to manage the New Product Introduction / Launch including Pre-production planning
(Timing, Cost, Capability)
- Accountable to define process parameters for all Manufacturinhg processes in collaboration with ME
Experts
- Driving and Support of Product Excellence Process
- Responsible for SOS / Working instructions
- Define operator training to secure the structured change from NPI to seriel production
- Lead continuous improvement of manufacturing processes/equipment
- Support for calculation of new programs / Collaborates with Global AME NPI organisation
- Support day to day operations and shopfloor improvements as part of the Honeywell Operating System
organization.
- Collaborates with all ISC function, HS&E, Finance and HR.
- Manage CAD support
Skills and knowledge required
- Strong background in implementing new programs
- High knowledge and skills in Manufacturing Processes in the automotive industry
- Success in leading multiple, complex projects and changing priorities, making sound decisions and
working effectively in a highly technical, team environment.
- Provide appropriate leadership and communication skills.
- High pratical knowledge in using Six Sigma and Lean tools
- Good English language skills.
Experience & Education required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, method, chemical or mechanical Engineering background preferred.
- At least 5 years experience in Manufacturing Engineering and New Product Introduction
- At least 2 years experience in leadership and managing of complex projects.
During starting and critical phases travel is required.
