Job Summary

This position will be responsible for the management of the Xiamen Studio relative to tracking project design & planning requirements, customer requirements and order delivery deadlines for projects specified in the US and EMEA.

The Manager will build a solid, trusted relationship with US and EMEA Artisan management through clear and frequent communication of project status updates, as well as, providing quality service and delivering design and planning work within expected time frames.


Job Responsibilities:

? Involve in building and leading a small team to support design and P&E tasks efficiently and effectively, be the first point of contact for day to day issues;
? Prioritize workflow conflicts to allow for evenly distributed workloads to ensure timely completion of projects;
? Regularly interact with US and EMEA sales and design management to ensure that projects are communicated clearly, executed to the highest quality, and completed within the appropriate time frame;
? Assist to implement and create processes and workflows with the goal of establishing global standards, policies and procedures;
? Able to serve as the central interface between local diverse work groups and the overseas sales and design management;
? Convert tasks requirements into sensible practices and process


Position Requirements:

? Minimum of 4-5 years of management or business experience
? Preferably fundamental knowledge of hand-tufted and pass-tufted carpet construction
? Exposure in textile, garment, fabrics and fashion is desirable;
? Experience in setting up a task force, service centre from scratch with remote or overseas directives is an advantage;
? Good command on spoken and written Mandarin and English is a must
? Skills in team building with a demonstrated ability to bridge across diverse teams, think at a strategic level and work independently as a self-starter towards long-term goals;
? Team leadership, approachable, able to analyze job related information, identify problems and implement innovative solutions
? Ability to build consensus, respect cultural differences and foster multi-cultural relationships
? Good communicator with clear, concise oral and written presentation and communication skills with ability to work with people at various levels from diverse cultural backgrounds
? Organized, process-oriented, attention to detail and ability to effectively multi-task
? Must show passion and enthusiasm, keen on learning new things and challenges;
? Willing to roll up sleeves to get things done;
