Job Summary:

Generally responsible for all back office activities and acting as Deputy to General Manager.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Supervision of Operation business including: Accounting, Bills, Settlement, Treasury and IT;
2. Liaise with management branch Mid-Office Department, Loan and Legal Documentation Department;
3. Support business development according to PRC laws and regulations.
4. Ensure to achieve business targets assigned by General Manager.
5. Ensure efficient service to customers (ability to coordinate different departments even under complicated trade finance structures locally as well as cross-border).
6. Responsible for budgeting and cost management ;
7. Efficient liaison with CBRC, PBOC, SAFE, Taxation and other regulators.
8. Acting as Deputy to General Manager and giving proactively advice.

Job Qualifications:

1. Solid knowledge and min. 10 years practice of CBRC, SAFE and PBOC regulations;
2. Sound understanding of all trade finance tools and structured trade finance as a business concept;
3. Sound understanding of risk management (min. 10 years practice in risk related positions)
4. Accounting (Chinese GAP, IFRS);
5. Legal Documentation and Chinese law;
6. Basic knowledge in Bank related IT matters;
7. Mid-and Back-Office Operations;
8. Good command of written and oral English and Chinese;
9. Good, proven understanding of the Chinese (e.g. PRC) mentality and ability to bridge the cultural gap to the Western mentality;
10. Communicative, leadership-oriented personality.
