职位描述
Primary responsibilities and tasks:
1.Assist in Establishing, developing and managing a Material Planning Section ensuring that it meets the business requirements.
2.To assist in training and developing a competent team.
3.Assist in ensuring that Material Planning team receives initial, recurrent and remedial training to maintain competencies.
4.Assist in Establishing and maintaining control procedures, instructions and forms to support the Material Planning Section compliant with SAP business system.
5.To assist in efficiently and effectively plan and manage module and engine kitting activities and to ensure material availability in accordance with and through achievement of the engine streamer/gate production plan.
6.To liaise with Internal Departments such as, but not limited to -
a）The Technical Services Department to ensure that any Modifications and/or Service bulletins are correctly set up on the SAP Business System and where embodied are from a materials perspective correctly complied with.
b）The Planning Department to ensure that sourcing is completed in a manner that efficiently compliments the Production Department’s planned engine build.
c）The Procurement Department to ensure that adequate stocks are procured to ensure an effective work flow and a cost effective stockholding.
7.To liaise with External Agencies .
8.To participate in setting up and managing regular inventory conferences to discuss and initiate such as, but not limited to –
a）Long term inventory planning, holding and delivery schedules.
b）Stockholding to meet short-term planning requirements due to increased/reduced planned inputs.
9.To assist in ensuring TEXL’s stock of engine materials is maintained at a minimum through:
a）Allocation of TEXL stock on a priority basis to engines or modules inducted into TEXL
b）Frequent review and provision of management reports of TEXL stock ensuring material redundancy is at a minimum
10.Assist in the preparation and submission of Material Management and Inventory Reports to Senior Management that provide information showing that kitting has the necessary inventory to meet the production schedule.
11.To routinely review the business system, SAP, to ensure that best practices are employed or system enhanced to ensure ongoing efficient use of resources.
12.Other task as directed by the Company.
Position Requirements
1.Higher Certificate or above in a relevant discipline.
2.5 years plus experience in an engine overhaul and refurbishment environment, to include a combination of applicable materials management, and aviation industry experience.
3.A working knowledge of ISO9000 and Aviation regulatory requirements and standards.
4.Experience of having worked in a lean/six sigma environment.
5.Fluent in written and spoken English.
6.Strong analytical skills.
7.Conversant with SAP business system.
