General Purpose:
Drive and manage consulting-led sales and support system-led sales.
Deliver demanding, high value consulting to customers during large and/or complex projects and in standalone Consulting engagements.
Main Responsibility Area:
Manages client engagements with solution capabilities from multiple sources and technologies. Builds understanding and preference for NSN consultancy and solutions by influencing customer decisions and strategic direction. Demonstrates significant operational as well as commercial knowledge of clients' business and uses this to build credibility as well as identify sales opportunities. Defines new & innovative solutions/answers to client needs and to define and package integrated solutions not only limited to NSN's portfolio Leads training, development and co-ordination of activities of more junior consultants, and regularly leads project teams.

Customer Projects:
? Maintain and develop understanding and insight of customer’s business and markets.
? Follow proactively the trends/needs in own area and turn them to new business opportunities for the customer and for NSN.
? Drive and position value and offerings with Customers and other parts of NSN.
? Lead, manage and deliver consulting assignments focusing on customer challenges and opportunities.
? Drive sales tendering via acquiring, identifying and scoping large scale business opportunities.
? Transform opportunities into high value and high visibility deals including paid consulting assignments.
? Support Project Manager throughout delivery project, help customer to realize value from the investment and identify leads for further business.
? Conduct chargeable consulting during large delivery projects in close cooperation with Project Managers, Solution Architects and additional NSN internal / external experts, according to the scope.
? Conduct chargeable, standalone consulting engagements together with Principal and Business Consultants.
? Strive for customer business benefits and customer satisfaction.
For consulting-led sales model
? Participate in account planning focusing on consulting-led opportunities.
? Plan sales initiatives within Customer Team and lead opportunities.
? Agree scope, resources and time schedule, costs, pricing and risk assessment.
? Formulate and deliver proposal, negotiate and close the order.
? Contribute to solution design together with Project Manager and Solution Architects.
? Deliver chargeable services with high quality and clear value to the customers.
? Apply standardized consulting delivery approach and use fact based problem solving method.
? Gain acceptance and trigger invoicing.
? Identify further high value opportunities.
For system-led sales model
? Support with scoping, cost planning, price structuring and risk assessment of solutions.
? Involve Project Manager and Solution Architect to create high-quality bid.
? Protect services margin during negotiations with a clear value based pricing rationale.
Customer Relationship:
? Build and develop trust-based relationships with customers’ middle and senior management in relation to consulting engagements and as a key member of the Customer Team.
? Identify and understand customers’ technical, operational and commercial challenges and opportunities.
? Provide thought leadership and discuss critical decisions.
Sharing:
? Manage quality and value by utilizing NSN’s deep expertise, resources and intellectual capital to realize high customer value and delight.
? Build subject matter expertise on own solution area.
? Share and re-use knowledge in own Service Line and in Consulting Community.
? Provide feedback to service line on opportunities for new and improved solutions.
