Division Operating Systems Engineering
Do you want to experience the most dynamic business environment in the world? Do you want to drive the team to ship features for the hottest user scenarios in China market? Do you want to address the complexity of typing words/documents in Chinese with exceptional input experience on Microsoft operating systems?
China IPX (Input Productivity Experience) testing team has a great opportunity for people who would like to try those impressive challenges. The position will lead the test team to collaborate with Program Management and Development team to work on East-Asian text input features. In addition, there is another excellent opportunity to help growing up young team, while leveraging your strong technical / leadership skills.
This position requires excellent collaboration skills to interact with partners in US and Japan, and technical skills to lead the team into the future.
Primary Responsibilities.
- Manage/lead test team that focuses on developing IME for Windows Phone/Tablet/PC.
- Lead to ensure monitoring capabilities are designed and developed in the product codes
- Lead a team to develop analytics that help insure the effectiveness of designs for monitoring capabilities
- Lead a team to help insure end-to-end customer scenarios meet quality expectations
- Grow your team members and increase their capabilities
- Be a strong contributor and participant and guide in all specification and design reviews
- Independently plan and execute work and help the rest of the team do the same
- Demonstrate cross-group collaboration skills, cross-cultural awareness and understanding
- Be a role model and mentor to the rest of the team
Skills/Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development or test in C++ / C#
- Working knowledge of testing applications across platforms and markets
- Strong understanding of the software development processes
- Excellent people management/coaching skills and strong team building/collaboration skills
- Provide forward-thinking and strategic thinking to team
- Excellent knowledge of quality analysis with quantitative/qualitative data
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience agile project management in testing
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
- Proficiency in Chinese is a plus
