Job Purpose:
Directs, coordinates and manages all aspects of Product Delivery to Customer and Sales by utilizing customer/marketing/sales analysis to coordinate products, quality, and costs and on time shipments. Focus on key customer metrics to ensure profitability, design and product definition are met.
Duties:
Product Management
? Utilizes Market Landscape & Sales Data to develop Account and Product Strategy with Sales, PM’s and CM’s.
? Understand Customers Margin Requirements and Retail Price Points by working closely with Sales.
? Responsible for helping Focus product in Customer reviews.
? Review Concepts and Shop the Shelf items against product plan to ensure product and price meet’s objectives.
? Work with Sales and Category Mangers to ensure Profitability by item and program.
? Coordinate sample completion and shipping with Suppliers, CM, PM and Sales.
? Responsible for understanding and communicating all Customer requirements for Packaging & Merchandising to CM’s and Supplier.
? Manage Retail Specific Cost negotiations with Suppliers.
? Understands and is responsible for all customer/3rd party product-testing requirements and communicates this to Suppliers, Category Mangers and DHI QA/QC.
Account Management
? Create timelines and communicate prioritization of projects to CM’s by using project-tracking lists.
? Provide weekly management reports and Project Tracking for all projects to Sales Manger and Product Specialist.
? Daily communication with Product Specialist and USA Sales.
? Maintenance of all customer item databases.
? Communicates and fosters relationships with customers China offices as needed.
Supplier Management
? Assist China Purchasing with Supplier Accounts Payable Issue Resolution.
? Responsible for working with Suppliers to maintain and monitor Production Schedules in order to ensure Supplier meets Shipping Schedules.
? Understand customer Factory Audit requirements and communicate this to Suppliers, Category Mangers and DHI QA/QC.
? Understands and is responsible for all customer Shipping requirements and communicates this to Suppliers and DHI Shipping Coordinator.
? Manage Customer Requirements for Product and Packaging (Artwork, Bar Codes, etc.) and ensure Supplier meets these requirements.
? Responsible to Coordinate with Supplier any 3rd party Pre-Shipment inspections that are required
Qualifications:
? Degree preferably in Business or Marketing
? Experience in Home Decor industries a plus
? 5-10 years Account management experience in Indoor and Outdoor Living products
? Demonstrated success in executing & launching successful products
? Organizational, Analytical, Mechanical & Problem Solving
? Costing, Pricing, Margin Analysis
? Prioritize & execute multiple projects with limited supervision to meet or exceed deadlines
? Superior communication skills –interpersonal, verbal, listening, written & presenting.
? Must demonstrate initiative, judgment, tact & diplomacy in dealing with internal & external customers as well the ability to handle confidential & proprietary information
? Ability to lead & manage
? Work both independently & as part of a cross-functional team, including high multi-task capabilities
? Advanced computer skills in business based applications to include, but not limited to spreadsheet, word processing, database & software (CRM, Sharepoint)
Travel
? Must be willing to travel domestically (20%)
