KPMG Shenzhen office is seeking a Markets Support Officer to support the running of events in Southern China. You will need to use initiative and judgement while providing coordination, logistics and secretarial support for the events.

Responsibilities

-- To handle external / internal meetings, organise local and regional conferences and marketing events
-- To liaise and co-ordinate with external business associations
-- Help negotiating business terms with suppliers
-- Work closely with hotels and event venues to ensure the delivery of quality services


Experience

-- Degree holder with 2 years plus experience in the field of PR or events organising and marketing
-- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strong attention to detail
-- A high standard of literacy in both English and Chinese, additional languages would be an advantage
-- Good knowledge of software applications such as Excel spreadsheets, Microsoft Outlook and PowerPoint
-- Creative and innovative, willing to take challenges
-- Ability to work efficiently and effectively both independently and as a team member
-- Presentable, proactive and outgoing personality
