Responsibilities:

1.Establish a strong sourcing network of plastic and metal mills and finished product suppliers in China.
2.Manage and assure suppliers to provide stable OTIF delivery according to company KPI and reduce product supply risk and improve supplier Non-conformance by close monitoring supplier performance.
3.Analyse the relative strength and competitive advantages of respective location.
4.Keep abreast of the development starts from conceptual walls at the beginning of each project.
5.Work closely with material/finished product supplier to review the new materials, processing and technique and develop our own quality.
6.Provide competitive advantages in sourcing front of materials so to maximize price/value products and with unique brand aesthetic whenever needed.
7.Negotiate with suppliers to achieve best price by the transparency.
8.Perform the vendor surveys independently and assist to select capable sources for the sourcing program.
9.Keep the market trend abreast and conduct regular market research so as to present up-to-date ideas to Amsterdam designer.
10.Counter source for existing qualities by innovation and designs engineering team if necessarily urgent.
11.Support outsourcing finished products and its product sourcing and development.

Requirement:

Education
College degree,major in Mechanical Engineering/ Manufacturing Engineering.

Experience
At least 5 years working experience in plastic/metal/kids product sourcing and development or in a similar capacity

Specific knowledge
Good knowledge of various plastic and metal product quality, performance and aesthetics.
Strong technical understanding of plastic injection, metal production and general product assembly required.
General understanding of textiles/softgoods product is a plus.
Understand product requirement / specification （such as tech-drawing is feasible for mass production）.
Good negotiation, communication and problem solving skills.
Knowledgeable on fabric supply logistics； competitive advantage in the respective regions.
Good English skills both spoken and written and good PC skills.
Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS8000, TS19649, SA8000 system and good practices.
Knowledge of Oeko-Tex, EN, ASTM and ISO quality standards and experience on working with 3rd party testing laboratories.
Business understanding
According to BGB sourcing strategy and target, ensure stable supply of materials and related products with in best price and quality.
