JOB SUMMARY
Quality Engineer owns the full responsibility of implementing quality requirements, utilizes quality tools to help develop manufacturing lines and teamwork to make a smooth transition to Mass Production stage.
During mass production stage, quality engineer will also conduct quality inspections and part of the production process control with vendor. Primary focus on the product safety and functions； work with vendor on the vendor production improvement. Monitoring the vendor quality management system at site, periodically check the IQC process of vendor. Tracking the integrity test requirement of each production batch.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Support team and Suppliers through Product Development milestones; Provide team for the implementation of design specific test methodologies.
2. Work with team to ensure a smooth transition from the development phase to the production phase of the product's lifecycle.
3. Ensure all required Quality related Product Development documents are developed, acquired, maintained and filed in the appropriate Quality folder. Documentation includes, Division quality requirements, engineering specifications, drawings （when applicable）, graphic approvals, internal and external test reports, emails relevant to product design direction/decisions.
4. Train team and supplier personnel in Regulatory requirements, and test methodologies.
5. Conduct the quality inspections at supplier site base on the shipping schedule and inspection criterion and issue the inspection report for record.
6. Report detailed inspection results timely to team leader when urgent case occur so the management can make quick decision and solving issues.
7. Provide the monthly quality performance base on the inspection result to vendors for improvement according.
8. To the critical and major defect issue the corrective action plan to vendors.
9. Developing the work station instructions and process control documents for the quality assurance implementation and production reliability verification.
10. Provide support during client's inspections, acting as the liaison between the supplier and the client’s inspection service or representative.
11. Review quality, consumer feedback data to provide product improvement support. Work with client, team and vendor to address any issues identified.

JOB REQUIREMENT

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
1. College or University Degree required, Engineering related degree preferred.
2. Good understanding of international quality standards and safety regulations.
3. Familiar with Juvenile Products and the related quality standards is preferred,
4. Knowledge of wood processing, plastic molding, metal fabrication, fabric manufacturing, and/or component or assembly manufacturing processes, whichever is most applicable to the position.
5. 3-year working experience in Quality related field, preferably in Quality Engineering.
6. Good understanding and working experience on Quality prevention and Quality improvement is a must
7. Experience in Lean Manufacturing is preferred


SKILLS
1. Good command of spoken and written English
2. Knowledgeable in the use of the Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
3. Good communication skills
4. No color blindness. （QE will be required to inspect products for color accuracy）

Salary
Basic salary + Project bonus
