The applications engineer works under the supervision of China applications center manager to support sales/FAE, customers and channel partners in China. Work closely with headquarter applications to coordinate application support issues and allocate resources; Help marketing to propose IGBT new product ideas, and assist with detailed product definition based on the system; Generate data sheets and applications notes including translating existing applications literature into Chinese, design general-purpose and customized demonstration boards, review customer design and provide design services, evaluate new products, assist FAEs with local failure analysis support, and provide the highest level of local technical service to customers. Prepare technical training material and conduct technical trainings for FAE, sales, and channel partners in China.
Requirements:
? BSEE or higher, concentration in Power Electronics is preferred.
? 3+ hands-on experience with master degree or 5+ years hands-on experience of IGBT application in motor control and power supply design. Well know IGBT semiconductor features and design tips with IGBT power electronics system. Have strong optimum design experiments for IGBT system and know to make the trade off during the evaluation.
? Motivated with “can-do” attitude, team work, ownership and able to work with minimum supervision
? Good communications and interpersonal skills
? Able to discuss common technical issues in English both verbally and in writing.
