POSITION SUMMARY:

Lead low cost region sourcing projects to support company Low Cost Region strategy. Develop good local supplier resource for company’s worldwide usage and work with corporation sourcing team to develop Asia suppliers base. Coordinate with BU buyer/quality /engineer to improve LCR supplier quality and delivery performance.

The Danaher Sensors and Controls Group manufactures and markets products that sense, measure and control temperature, position, quantity, time, level and flow in the Process Automation and Factory Automation Markets. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Projects management

a) Lead Low Cost Country sourcing project management, from supplier evaluation to pilot production validation.

b) Manage supplier mass production Quality /Delivery/Cost performance.

2. Procure a wide variety of production materials and equipments for SCG oversea factories

3. Contract negotiation to secure competitive prices, monitoring and forecasting price development based on raw material and commodity market prices

4. Investigates, analyzes, develops, and determines processes and process improvements with supplier for new and existing products, take action to solve quality issue for oversea sites.

5. Coordinates Kaizen (continuous improvement) activities with special emphasis on DBS (Danaher Business System) principles that include standard work, one piece flow, visual controls and 5S

6. Audit, assess and manage supplier base.

7. Communication between Oversea material peers and supplier.

8. Tracking the order and the shipment.
