China Next Generation Talent Development Program

Description of the Program

The program is named “China Next Generation Talent Development Program”. The company will select certain number of young talent internally or externally according to the criteria set by the steering committee of this program. The selected candidates will be put into a 12 month structured training program with specific objectives for different periods within the company. Upon the completion of the program, the candidates will be placed in permanent positions in alignment with the business strategy.

Objectives

The program is established for the future needs of talents in critical positions in Asia region in alignment with the business and people strategies.

Methodology

12 month structured training consists of on-the-job training with the project of specific topics including one month overseas training in Asia region, necessary in-house training, and mentoring program

On-job training: Orientation for the program, Rotate to different departments every three or four months with assigned tasks or projects

Necessary in-house training: relevant in-housing training will be arranged according to the actual needs

Mentoring program: A mentor is assigned to each candidate for the whole program to ensure him/her to grow in the right direction.

Criteria

Internal: - 1 to 2 years after university graduation with bachelor degree, relevant disciplines of shipping field, movability for overseas relocation in the future, good English skills, responsible, collaborative, positive thinking, willing to take challenges

External: - bachelor degree graduate students with relevant disciplines of shipping field, good English skills, ambitious, movability for overseas relocation in the future, positive and collaborative personality, responsible, willing to take challenges
