Job Description:
1.Create process maps to be used as blueprints for the Controllership Group to design improvements for the overall process
2.Responsible for the overall integration of the Controllership functions which includes ERP system, processes and control procedures of a newly acquired local entity into the parent entity
3.Work closely with various functional groups within the local and parent entities including IT, Operations and Finance to ensure: the ERP system, accounting processes and procedures, and controls are fully integrated between the local and parent entities
4.Ensure the accounting books are properly closed during the interim periods
5.Assist the Controller to define and build the new Finance organization of the local entity post integration
6.Ensure proper document procedures and controls are in place for the local entity post integration; in compliance with US GAAP, Tyco policies, audits and local regulations
7.Identify opportunities for streamlining, standardization and process improvements

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management
- Accounting degree with over 3 years of working experience in accounting, preferably in a MNC environment
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
- Good oral and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin
- Knowledge of accounting and regulatory practices of China would be an advantage
- Mature individual who can interface and communicate effectively with internal/external functional groups of all levels
- Organized, time-sensitive & results driven, and the ability to attend to details is a must

Other Information:
- Understanding and exposure/experience in a MNC environment
- Experience/exposure in working with different functional partners highly desirable
- Willing to travel when necessary
