Job Description
In this position, the candidate will be Field Application Engineer in ST MCU team and locate in Xiamen, he/she will support our customers in technical field from project evaluation to product mass production based on ST 8-bit and 32-bit MCU. Beside generic microcontroller support, the engineer will build expertise on some areas and provide support on his area of expertise. His/her responsibilities will include but not be limited to
- Coding and debugging in 8-bit/32-bit ST MCU platform.
- Provide Schematic/PCB reference design based on ST 8-bit and 32-bit MCU.
- trouble-shooting and failure analysis in field.
- Provide technical presentations and training.
Requirements:
- Bachelor/Master degree with major of Electrical Engineering or Science.
- 2+ years related working experience.
- Thorough understanding of general 8-bit MCU and 32-bit ARM MCU structure and general peripherals.
- Good software coding skills in ASM/C.
- Good Hardware debug experience and EDA skills (Protel/Altium Designer is preferred).
- Must have good knowledge of team work concept and has good communication skills
- Good skills in reading and composing documentation in English
- Good capability of learning new technical knowledge
- Can travel often near his region.
