Responsibilities

1. Promote MSC Air Cargo services to existing and potential customers.
2. Respond to inquiries, provide spot quotes, and assist customers in choosing the appropriate airfreight solution.
3. Coordinate pricing with commercial and revenue management teams providing feedback on market trends, competitor activity and short-term strategic view to drive sales strategy. Implement pricing initiatives in response to demand indicators, capacity development and Revenue Management and Commercial strategic indications.
4. Promote daily engagement between pricing teams and regions to ensure alignment and full understanding of market conditions.
5. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through attentive communication and customer care.
6. Monitor and manage available capacity on flights to ensure optimization, evolving the pricing and capacity strategy depending on the yield and optimization of the flight.
7. Process booking requests, modifications and cancellations for air freight and road freight solutions.
8. Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to cargo shipments, such as delays, damages, coordinating with all teams involved.

Qualifications

1. Air Cargo knowledge including pricing, reservations, air routing and operations.
2. Airline Transport Management systems background, pricing and tariff / rates knowledge are assets.
3. University degree required. Studies in engineering, mathematics, economics, accounting, business, or statistics would be an asset.
4. Strong business/commercial orientation and experience.
5. Understanding of the airline industry competition.
6. At ease working with a diverse and dynamic team across multiple countries
7. Strive for high quality and can add strength to our teams.
8. Flexible, highly motivated, and open to travel.
9. Must be a team player, self-starter and able to work under general direction.
10. Proficiency with Excel and Word applications.
11. Fluent in English; further languages would be advantageous.

This position is for air cargo function.
