Position Summary
Responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring top-notch service delivery to clients, and addressing issues promptly. They review and enhance SOPs and policies, delegate tasks fairly, and maintain an efficient team workload. Creating a positive team environment, demonstrating excellent communication, and effectively managing daily tasks under pressure are crucial aspects of this role. Adaptability and fulfilling additional responsibilities as assigned by superiors are expected.
Key Accountabilities
Oversee day-to-day operations, providing assistance to the Senior Operations Manager and focusing on quick problem-solving and addressing complaints from overseas clients, customers, carriers, etc., ensuring the delivery of top-notch service to customers.
Review and update SOPs, policies, or strategies as needed to enhance business management and service quality.
Delegate tasks to team members in a fair manner and closely monitor progress.
Maintain a balanced workload within the team to optimize efficiency.
Foster a positive and appealing working atmosphere/environment within the team.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills when interacting with colleagues, subcontractors, and customers.
Exhibit a timely and efficient email communication manner.
Handle daily work effectively under pressure and in emergency situations.
Undertake other tasks as assigned by superiors.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Bachelor degree with more than 10 years relevant experience in Freight Forwarding/ International Logistics industry.
Language - Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Team management - Demonstrated experience in leading and delegating tasks effectively.
Knowledge - Strong understanding of logistics and freight forwarding operations management. Familiarity with international shipping, customs regulations, and trade compliance.
Communication - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues, subcontractors, and customers.
Adaptability: Flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs and evolving logistics requirements..
Software skills - Experience with Cargowise, Cargos, Cargo 2000, 泰康, 吉联 as a plus.
Pressure Handling - Ability to handle work under pressure and address complaints promptly.
