As a Hub Planning & Fulfillment Specialist, will be responsible for generating constrained engineering and production plan, material plan and Work In Progress (WIP) inventory rationalization incl. sales in excess of invoicing in order to improve service levels and optimize working capital, for Electrification Business Area in Xiamen/Beijing, China and Malaysia.
Reporting to the Hub P&F manager, you will Implement the best practices and solutions for the Hub Division Planning & Fulfillment function, in line with the Hub strategy to drive all RUs’ initiatives for better customer on time delivery, lead-time, inventory turns, forecast accuracy and resource utilization.
This position is graded as Global Grade 12.
- 1. S&OP
- Runs the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process for the Hub in order to align offering, demand, operations and financial plans. Collaborates with other units for the synchronization of the end-to-end value chain.

- 2. Operations Planning and scheduling
- Support to run an operations planning process covering all critical resources (e.g. engineering, manufacturing, testing, materials) and ensures synchronization with short-term production scheduling. Contributes to resource optimization and schedule stability.

- 3. Fulfillment
- Support to run a short-term planning process, such as Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE), to connect plans with execution. Coordinates an appropriate response to unplanned events. Supports the profitable execution of customer orders, in coordination with relevant stakeholders.

- 4. Inventory management
- Follows the Hub inventory management process across for all aspects of inventory, including raw materials, WIP, finished goods and sales in excess of invoicing in line with Group/Business Area/Division instructions. Drives projects to optimize inventory.

- 5. Continuous improvement
- Leads cross-functional initiatives for optimizing customer on-time delivery, lead-time, inventory turns, DIH, forecast accuracy. Uses Lean / Six Sigma tools whenever applicable. Collaborates with other units in the end-to-end supply chain to drive the digital transformation successfully.

- 6. Technology
- Supports the implementation of planning systems and ERPs for the Hub.
- 1. Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or equivalent
- 2. Demonstrated ability to improve on time delivery, lead time and inventory turns
- 3. Up-to-date functional expertise in the Planning & Fulfillment domains of Sales & Operations Planning, Sales & Operations Execution, Inventory Management, Operations Planning and Demand Planning
- 4. Previous experience in application of Project Management and Lean / Six Sigma methodology
- 5. Strong communication skills in English, consulting and facilitating skills
- 6. Ability to work with different cultures in a matrix organization
- 7. Customer focus and actions oriented with a systematic and structured approach
