Jabra China is currently on a look out for Product Verification Engineer to join our ranks in Xiamen, China.

Product Verification Engineer belongs to a global team named Product Verification, located in both Ballerup, Denmark and in Xiamen, China. The primary responsibility for the Product Verification team, is ensure GN products in right reliability level by testing in both NPI and MP phases. As a Product Verification Engineer who is mainly focus on Product Reliability. You will join into very early concepting product development to assess risks by reviewing product design solutions and then design approaches to verify on physical products against the risks. Hereafter, you will transfer the knowledge/experience to mass production stage - Participate in product maintenance plan making and monitor MP products quality.

It is a role across whole product lifecycle. So you need to working with multiple departments: PQM, Mechanics, Hardware, Sustaining, IPM, COM, SQM, Suppliers, etc …

The position is located in our R&D office in Xiamen, China and you will have a key role in a very well-functioning and motivated team, that always strives to support the business in the best possible manner.

10-20 travelling days are to be expected on a yearly basis, covering primarily supplier visits, mainly within APAC.

You will get your hand on the following exciting tasks:

Having the primary responsibilities listed below across our product portfolio, working closely with your team colleagues. As we are working in organization constantly evolving, responsibilities are expected to develop over time, to meet business needs.

• Work out a Product Test Plan according to Product features, requirements and design.
• Join project review meeting and assessing risks for both design and testing
• Test execution and reporting
• New test approach research
• Preliminary Failure Analysis
• Sample and equipment management
• Supplier training and audit

Educational background

You hold a B. Sc. or a M. Sc. Degree within Mechanical/Electrical engineering or similar and master English fluently.

Preferred experience

• Experience in product testing and quality ensurance
• Experience within root cause analysis and related methodologies
• More than 3 years of experience in Product Test/Process Engineering/Product Quality/Mechanical design
• Familiar with Quality tools such as PDCA, FMEA, Quality statistic tools, DOE
