Roles & Responsibilities:

Support commodity manager in PTM/NPI project, including but not limited to

-       Search potential supplier in China/Asia market

-       Send and collect RFI/RFQ to and from suppliers

-       Support the communication between R&D and suppliers

-       Coordinate supplier qualification and material qualification

-       Coordination from sample approval to mass production.

Support commodity manager in supplier management

-       Work closely with procurement / warehouse / logistics to drive efficient flows of sourced commodities to export platforms

-       Coordinate between suppliers and procurement dept once delivery issues happens

-       Maintain sourcing data in SAP system

Development and manage non-key suppliers. Those materials covering packaging, fasteners, consumables used in production line.

Third party item purchase activities, third party supplier mangement

Indirect material sourcing

-       Search potential suppliers in the market

-       Organize meetings with suppliers and related dept of the company

-       Manage RFI/RFQ

-       Price negotiation

-       Manage contracting process

Operate in compliance with all environmental health and safety regulations and policies. Comply with all appropriate ISO procedures. Maintain necessary records.

Other related Sourcing tasks assigned by Commodity manager and/or sourcing manager

Qualifications and Experience:

• > 3 years experiences in similar industries
• Experience in sourcing/purchasing mechanical material (sheet metal, machining, inection molding), and/or electronics materials, (PSU, LCD, cable harness, RFID tag, connector), or hydraulic materials (valve, pump…)
• Technical background is a plus
• Team work oriented
• Fluent English mandatory
