As a GBS Hub controller, you will act as business partner to the Function lead in the respective organization to monitor and optimize financial performance within an assigned area. Support effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing and interpreting financial data in order to evaluate various business alternative and recommend the most appropriate business solutions. You will be reporting to Controlling & Planning Manager in Global Business Services located in Xiamen, China.

- Serving as the key partner for the relevant function head in determining strategy for areas of responsibility, aligning with wider strategy implementing and making adjustment in implementation as needed.
- Overseeing the business planning process for the area of responsibility and serves as the interface to GPG controller / hub manager. Evaluating financial implications of various business decisions and recommends actions.
- Contributing to definition of key performance indicators, monitoring financial performance of the function, identifying issues and advising management on action plans and productivity optimization.
- Establishing and overseeing processes and tools necessary to obtain transparent and reliable financial data and business information. Ensuring high quality of financial data and business information in line with defined standards and financial closing schedules.
- Ensuring transparency in financial reporting and disclosures. Defining and implementing internal controls regarding financial and non-financial operations, ensuring compliance with corporate and country standards, regulations and guidelines, supporting internal and external audits
- Leading cross-functional initiatives that support strategic goals, ensuring continuous improvement in the functional controlling process in alignment with global standards and local policies; driving process standardization and optimization initiatives across all functions.
- Ensuring timely and efficient communication with relevant controllers, functional controlling GPG controllers, GBS function deliver leads, GBS hub manager and other internal customers to identify and discuss issues for improvement of operations, work quality and efficiency for area of responsibility.
- Ensuring (with HR manager support) that the area of responsibility is organized, staffed, skilled and directed, guiding, motivating and developing direct/indirect subordinates within HR policies.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Accounting or Business administration.
- Years of experience in similar role 8+ years, experience in functional controlling reporting & analysis preferred.
- Must have a very good understanding of ABB business set-up and interconnections.
- Good communication skills and interpersonal skills at all levels both internally and externally.
- Must exhibit good problem-solving skills, excellent skill on MS Office skills.
- English proficiency in speaking and written preferred.
- Experience in SAP and data analytical tools such as PowerBI preferred.
- Must have a strong understanding of end-to-end process, systems and data flows across organization at business and finance side.
