We’re looking for a Validation Engineer who’ll be responsible for ensure the quality, reliability and compliance of new products and services during the entire innovation process using the DfSS methodology with the aim to fulfill the customer’s needs.

 

What you’ll do

 

·       Verify that customer- and all other applicable requirements (industrial, suppliers, component platforms, standards, and regulations) are SMART and complete

·       Translate requirements into CTQ’s and manage the CTQ flow down

·       Validate the CTQ’s through efficient test plans and use of statistical tools (where applicable)

·       Make product certification available

·       Manage risks through all design phases until PE using FMEA methodology

·       Prevent incidents by ensuring robust design

·       Drive safe launch/field tests (up to beta testing) with active customer involvement

·       Ensure the quality of milestone decisions and escalates when quality of the product/service is at risk

·       Close feedback loops from customer complaints by embedding the learnings into new design rules, QTP’s, FMEA’s and other VE-tools

·       Develops and coaches the development organizations with the use of Quality tools like DfSS, Issue tracking (PRs, CRs) and FMEA.

 

What you’ll need

 

·       Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Engineering specialized in Electronic, Electrical, Material Science or equivalent experience

·       Several years of hands-on experience in product development quality with good knowledge of design quality tools

·       At least practitioner-level in Validation Engineering competences

·       Certified DFSS Green Belt. Black Belt is preferred.

·       Demonstrated ability to influence a project team

·       Automotive industry experience is a plus.
