This is a Cyber Security Engineer role, reporting to R&D Team Manager in Business Area – Electrification, Smart Buildings located in Shenzhen, China.

- Performing cyber security assessment.
- Conducting cyber security and penetration testing.
- Providing cyber security solutions.
- Performing supplier cyber security assessment.
- Preparing cyber security related documents.
- Maintaining cyber security assessment result documenting system.
- Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

- Must have a degree in a field relating to cyber security.
- Must have solid cyber security and cryptography knowledge, with solid understanding of network security and commonly used protocols such as HTTPS, TLS, etc.
- Experience in penetration testing is a plus.
- Solid knowledge and experience in hardware security, operating system security would be plus.
- Solid understanding and experience in embedded system security and solid understanding and experience in programming languages such as Java, C, C++ would be plus.
- Certifications related to cyber security, such as CISSP is a plus.
- Must have good English communication skills, both in speaking and writing, good personal communication skills and must be a good team player.
