You will act as business SCM partner coordinating new product development and realization, sourcing and purchasing, continuously improvement in material cost and supplier performance and will responsible for assigned category material sourcing and supplier management.

This is a Procurement & Logistics Specialist role, reporting to Procurement & Logistics Manager in Business Area – Electrification, Distribution Solutions located in Xiamen, China.

- Leading supplier and components qualification to ensure supplier lead time and cost reduction activities, for new source development and new product development realization.
- Coordinating daily project requirement sourcing activities and supplier performance management to ensure smooth project delivery and factory operations.
- Implementing category strategy, being responsible for sourcing including supplier selection and commercial negotiation.
- Driving product material cost reduction by both commercial or technical improvement actions to meet business and product requirement.
- Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

- Must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of related experience.
- Should be familiar with power distribution product with good knowledge on mechanical components manufacturing process knowledge.
- Strong project management, negotiation and interpersonal communication skills, localization, quality control or engineering background are preferred.
- Good English speaking and writing skills.
- Should exhibit characteristics like Integrity, organized, result driven, like challenge and good communication skills.
