职位描述
Technical Activities:
To design and implement DB part of integration team projects and L1 support for various online banking / financial systems.
Co-ordinate effectively with other technical teams and PMO for various project activities
Should be able to adapt COMPANY standards and implement the same for projects.
Should be able to handle DB part of the project independently.
Should be able to present effectively the DB design for the internal architecture teams for design approval.
Day to day basic database administration, User management, space management, Backup configuration, Good knowledge in Capacity Planning.
Oracle Tech Skills:
Working knowledge in Oracle 9.x, 10g & 11g versions.
Expert in RMAN, OEM, statspack, AWR & tkprof.
Expert in Oracle universal installer.
Expert in transportable tablespace concept.
Expert in configuring Standby database (DataGuard).
Good knowledge in 11g new features.
Good in Real Application Clustering (RAC)
Good working knowledge on ASM.
Should be comfortable working with all flavours of UNIX and Windows operating systems.
Should be good in shell scripting.
Good understanding of project management life cycle.
SQL Server Tech Skills:
Good on installation, upgrades of SQL Server.
Prefer candidates having exposure to upgrade from SQL Server 2000 to 2005 or 2008
Should possess good background on backup & recovery (system DB recovery,point in time recovery)
Understanding of performance issues
To proactively monitor the database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime
Implement/Maintain DR topologies (Replication/Log Shipping )
Certifications: OCP / Microsoft Certifications preferred
