Rutronik‘s Product Management defines the products we hold and the strategies we apply to successfully position our product range among our customers. Both technical and commercial factors are key here. Our marketing teams specialize in different components such as wireless, displays, inductors, resistors and more. The driving force behind these teams is the Line Manager (m/f) Location Shenzhen, China.

We are a reputable European based broadline electronic component distributor. Due to expansion we are looking for high caliber people to join us as Line Manager.

Target:

• Participation in the implementation of the goals of the responsible manufacturers.
  
• Involvement in the further development of the manufacturer portfolio as part of Rutronik's overall corporate planning.

Responsibility:

Responsibility for assigned manufacturers:

• Best possible positioning of Rutronik by the manufacturer.
• Achievement of sales and contribution margin targets.
• Cross-divisional responsibility for assigned manufacturers.

Duties:

1. General:

• Comparison of the manufacturer's strategy with Rutronik's corporate strategy.
• Monitoring of escalation steps.
• Participation in the planning and implementation of marketing activities.
• Creation of reviews.
• Preparation of reports.

2. Supplier:

• Coordination of manufacturer activities.
• Participation in supplier negotiations.
• Participation in contract negotiations.
• Monitoring of manufacturer-specific key figures
• Implementation of appropriate measures as required.
• Repressentation of Rutronik's interests to the manufacturer.
• Establishment and maintenance of manufacturer relationships.
• Creation of manufacturer-specific reports.

3. Cooperation with other departments and business partners:

• Sales
• Product Marketing
• Global Marketing Communication
• Legal
  

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor Degree or above in Electronics Engineering.
• Fluent in spoken and written English & Putonghu a must. Other language ability a plus.
• Minimum 5 years product lines management experience with European suppliers is preferred Optoelectronics, Wireless or Sensors.
• Hands on experience and customer resources.
  
• Knowledge and experience in automotive and industrial segments an advantage.
  
• Able to delivery performance, work under pressure, a team player and solution provider.
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for junior position.
