Main Activities / Responsibilities

• Manage the Regional inventories so that targeted service levels are achieved whilst stock levels are optimised and Dover MI commitments are achieved.
• Deploy, globally standard work facilitating the deployment of best practice and consistent materials management processes
• Align with global peers ensuring regional production is always aligned to the global demand signal and requirement
• Consolidate the Regions inventory result and identify variances versus the forecast.  As a result, determine mitigations to improve overall Inventory accuracy.
• Work closely with global peers to develop overall material flow execution, ensuring visibility, accuracy and flexibility in the global supply chain.
• Project Manage specific global improvement initiatives as directed via the global demand team, focused focussed on global replenishment
• Maintain a predictive Inventory forecast model that is maintained monthly ensuring alignment to the S&OP demand signal.  
• Lead the competency and organisational development of the Regional supply chain team.

 

Desired Experience & Skills

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a global or regional supply chain management role
• 5 years of experience and proven track record in inventory management (regional distribution network).
• Direct experience of working in a supply chain function within a modern manufacturing organization.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to think strategically across the end-to-end value chain
• Ability to present complex topics in a concise way to executive committee level.
• Strong understanding
• Knowledge of BW, SAP or Power BI as a reporting tool is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft tools excel (advanced pivot tables and macro)
• Fluent in English.

Qualification:

• As minimum Bachelor’s in Engineering or Science related subject.
• APICS – CPIM/CSCP Certified.
• Lean Six Sigma Certification Preferable.
