Key responsibilities:
l oversee projects from planning through completion (expression, purification and characterization), independently (or with minor supervision) manage and perform multiple projects.
l responsible for designing, supervising and evaluating laboratory experiments, writing/revising experimental protocols, procedures, reports and serve as the contact person for clients.
l Participate in designing, evaluating, and developing systems
l Coach scientists and technicians in the technical aspects of their daily jobs.
l Interpret data, prepare reports and present results.
Qualifications required
l Ph.D. degree with 2-5 year's postgraduate experience in cell biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, protein chemistry, or a related scientific discipline
l A broad-based scientific background or an individual who is highly motivated to learn many different techniques
l be technically inquisitive, attentive to detail and must exhibit strong problem solving skills
l exhibit leadership abilities and strong interpersonal skills;
l be able to work independently and be able to prioritize activities;
l Excellent communication skills including English (both verbal and written).
