Textile engineer:

Your tasks include, but are not limited to:

    

• Master data management of supply chain
• Implementing a strategy to develop suppliers chemical management
• Close monitoring of our supply chain
• Planning and structuring supplier assessments and testings
• Analysis of wastewater and sludge sampling results
• Root cause analysis of chemical problems in the ready made garment and shoes
• Communication with suppliers in chinese and english
• Monitor internationally environmental activities of NGOs

                                        

Your profile:

    

• University degree in textile engineering or in the area of sustainability/environment or similar
• Minimum 2 years experience in comparable profession
• Knowledge of textile production processes, e.g. dyeing, spinning, printing,…
• Knowledge of use of chemicals
• Knowledge about business model of discounters is highly appreciated
• Fluent english in writing and speaking
• Efficient use of MS Office-software
• Strategic / analytic thinking
• High level of personal and professional integrity and trustworthiness
• Willingness to travel frequently
