R&D Senior Design Engineer- Mechanical

General Requirements

Bachellor degree or above. Major in Mechanical Engineering or machinery design.
At least 15 years work experience of machinery and mechanical parts design for Open Winch who has developed Open Winch independently - Calculation, structure design. Familiar with the selection of motor and brake, drum design are preferred.
Familiar wigh production process, e.g. iron/ aluminum casting and machining of part.
Work experience of crane industry is preferred.
Familiar with new product developing process is preferred.
Analyzing and problem solving skills.
Influence communication in English, oral and writing is preferred.
Team work sprit and interpersonal skills.
Aquick learner. Be able work under pressure.

Responsibilities

Transfer product requirements from Product Manager to product specification
Communicate with relevant departments (Project Manager, Operation or Sourcing...) to make relevant technical solution for the new product design to meet the specification and cost requirements.
Responsible for overall product concept design in mechanism concept and the mechanism for electrical design as well. The products meet the relevant tests and approval.
Leading a team to accomplish the new product design including condept design, details design and relevant documentation, e.g. product assembly and parts.
Technical support when required.
Support Director to build up the technology competence in R&D.
Fully support company's vision, strategy, policy and regulation.
Others activities request from top management team.
