ACCOUNTABILITIES 

1.Responsible for building and equipment maintenance programs including mechanical, electrical, etc., building automation systems, fire/life safety systems. 

2. Performs, evaluates and directs design and construction disciplines including architectural, electrical, mechanical, and controls. Manages energy conservation programs and tracks utility usage/costs. 

3. Investigates or ensures adequate investigation of all incidents and facilitates corrective action to prevent future occurrence. 

4. Routinely inspects work area for EHS hazards and identifies improvement opportunities. 

5. Consults and advises management of environmental, health and safety issues. 

6. Coordinates hazardous/regulated waste disposal, pollution prevention, and waste minimization programs. 

7. Manages and implements EHS programs for the site to include but not limited to emergency preparedness, contractor safety, environmental, and operational safety. 

8. Manages various facility projects including budget and schedule. 

9. Participates in vendor bid solicitation, selection and contract management.

Requirements on knowledge & skills:

1. 5-10 years related  work experience; 

  2. Fluent English in both oral and written; 

  3. Strong ability to read and understand drawings in all disciplines. 

  4. Strong knowledge of occupational hazards associated with the trade and the  necessary safety procedures. 

  5. Strong knowledge of Facilities Integrated Work Management Systems (Space  Planning, Lease Modules, Work Order Management, Project Management). 

  6. Strong knowledge of EHS procedures, regulatory laws and regulations,  emergency preparedness, contractor safety, environmental, and operational  safety. 

  7. Strong knowledge of business continuity and crisis management procedures. 

  8. Strong knowledge and ability to interpret electrical, mechanical, building,  fire and other applicable codes. 

  9. Strong ability to negotiate contract terms and conditions. 

  10. Competent in multiple areas of the corporate real estate disciplines  (Operations, Asset Management, Strategy, Transactions). 

  11. Ability to negotiate with local authorities and jurisdictions.
