This role is a part of Innovation team, responsible for global connected lighting building blocks, platforms, and solutions. Its responsibilities are at the heart of introducing IoT to Lighting and driving new technology applications for connected lighting systems, so aspiring for innovations in IoT space for lighting applications must be in your DNA.

 

Together we …

·       Develop data enabled lighting solutions

-          map the business requirements to the solution requirements and the data architecture/model;

-          design, build, integrate data from various sensors/devices, and manage data;

-          write complex queries, make sure the data is easily accessible, works smoothly;

-          develop competitive algorithms;  

-          deliver the core building blocks and modules;

-          deliver a total solution by working together with teams in different organizations

·       Develop technical platforms

-          synergize the inputs from both internal and external stakeholders/resources;

-          define and development technical platform of data driven systems by working together with System Architects from multiple functions and business units;

-          support the application development based on the platforms.

·       Build up manage a productive innovation team

-          lead a newly established data and AI innovation team;

-          build up core competence and capability of the team;

-          responsible for establishing innovation program/portfolio for the team by interacting with key stake holders companywide;

-          ensure the execution of innovation projects and deliver on promises.

 

You have…

·       a Bachelor degree in the area of electrical engineering, computer science or mathematics. MSc or PhD a plus;

·       more than 10 years working experience in developing data driven solutions and applications, with a clear focus on algorithms;

·       relevant skills and experiences in key data platform and data infrastructure, e.g. SQL/NoSQL, Python, AWS, AliCloud, Hadoop, MapReduce;

·       a track record in formulating innovation program and technology roadmap is required;

·       knowledge and experiences in LED lighting applications is a plus;

·       experiences in managing a productive innovation team is highly value;

·       fluent both in writing and oral English;

·       strong record of execution capability and driving for result;

·       Ability to excel under stress and ambiguous conditions.
