  Based in Shanghai this leading high profile leader is seeking a new Merchandising Manager. You will be seeking to join a fast paced and successful team.   The role include:
  
  
  Support Head of Merchandising in developing Apparel business plan / strategies
  Align with global / region on category directions and key growth drivers
  Ensure range integration with footwear and accessory as well as marketing initiatives
  Oversee Apparel business cycle
  Build product range that meets market needs based on market data, consumer insight, and trends
  Identify and communicate range gaps to region for local product development (SMU)
  Develop and implement an efficient process for Apparel business
  Ensure a smooth migration and roll out of new system implementation
  Develop a systematic competitors' intelligence process to analyze competitors'product strategy
  Set up performance/development plan for direct reports, review and evaluate performance
  Provide guidance effectively for direct reports and coach the junior team members
  
  
  
  To be successful you will have:
  
  
  
  Minimum 7 years of experience in merchandising or product creation in the apparel industry (preferably in sportswear industry)
  Bachelor degree or above
  Strategic mindset, strong knowledge and background of apparel in China
  Proficient in analysis and able to work under pressure and tight timelines
  Team leader and player, open communication
  Fluent in English and Mandarin
  Travel required
