Scope of Role :

· To deliver against our Customer Charter of fast and accurate service, we need a proficient KM leader to build and maintain an internal information portal for all pertinent information related to the Regional Contact Center.

· The Webmaster sits at the cross roads of Content, Business Process and Knowledge Management for China and the Call Center agents. This person with help to ensure there is a clear understanding within the region of policies, procedures, products, and promotions, among other information for handling customer inquiries in China.

Responsibilities/Challenges:

· Build and maintain a knowledge portal for all Contact Center agents to access information related to customer inquiries

· Act as the database administrator and manage this database/portal for the bank.

· Work with the various Business units to load their data, create web pages and ensure a consistent and uniform look throughout the site

· Lead and interact closely with the Knowledge Management team and business units to create a taxonomy and tag all material related to the site

· Optimize and analyze the speed of the website to ensure user do not wait for pages to load

· Manage stakeholders relationship and expectation on development of content and ensure processes and procedures for the portal are adhered to so as all updates are loaded in an accurate and timely manner

· Ensure access levels are maintained and security is not breached

· Work with business users to improve their material related to customer enquiries and maintain a consistent look and feel for the portal interface

· Ensure that all the links work properly and track, using various metrics, traffic to the site.

· Responsible for reporting regularly, making recommendation on improvements and also help to allow for search engine optimization

Selection Criteria:

· The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the bank and strong written skills to help communicate processes and procedure for all to understand

· Bachelor degree (or above) in Information Science and Management or any related discipline.

· Have experience in Web Development/Online Environment or similar capacity

· Proficient in HTML, Dreamweaver, Flash and Photoshop and some programming languages

· Knowledge of Content Management System especially Interwoven Microsoft's Share Point, will be an added advantage

· Must have knowledge of the open-source Unix operating system or its variants as the server is hosted on Linux or Solaris.

· It is also helpful, if the webmaster knows a programming language such as C++ or Java.

· Must be fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
