职位描述
KEY DUTIES:
- Negotiate the price, ETD with each supplier for each order/development; ensure the purchasing in China is competitive in all respects;
- Monitor development/bulk order status to ensure right quality and right delivery. Foresee and solve problems;
- Maintain close contact with suppliers and customers through regular local factory visits, buying meeting and daily communication;
- Work closely with different dept. in Shanghai and oversea HQ;
- Regular local factory visits;
- Supervise assistant merchandisers and help establish a team if required.
REQUIREMENT：
- University graduate or above, 5 years working experience in buying / trading office in handling European market kids footwear;
- Product knowledge with sourcing and price negotiation experiences, should know cost structure of baby products, able to work independently with local suppliers and overseas clients;
- Good understanding at CE, EU, FDA regulation of baby products;
- Ability to manage a high & diverse workload and to meet deadlines;
- Very good communication skills & be able to maintain stronger vendor network for current & future business;
- Aggressive and willing to invest time and energy to grow business;
- Responsible and proactive, able to work under pressure, strong, confident & outgoing personality. Open minded & team working spirit;
- Willing to travel frequently to the factories to work on development samples or any outstanding issue;
- Good computer skills;
- Good oral and written English is essential, French will be a plus.
