GENERAL FUNCTION ：
The Head of Programmes oversees the co-ordination of all programmes within MXM including Work Transfer, New Product Introduction & Meggitt Production System (MPS).
Jobholder will deliver site wide deployment of MPS tools, concepts and methodologies working with the team to optimize system effectiveness within MXM and drive cultural change and ensure that programmes are effectively planned, resourced & managed and delivered in accordance with project timescales & budgets. And
Key Responsibilities:
? Develop and implement strategy to deliver effective programme management within the business.
? Be responsible for implementation of the Meggitt Production System (MPS) and leading efforts to drive Continuous Improvement across the business.
? Collaborate with the Site Leadership Council & employees to enable and support the MPS journey to achieve required results, maturity and capability as they advance through the various stages of the Meggitt Production System.
? Directly provide formal and informal training and coaching, support the establishment of learning, and a core approach for key tools, methods and MPS elements.
? Drive implementation of MPS tools, concepts and methodologies to achieve breakthrough performance results and establish culture of Continuous Improvement within the business
? Be responsible for delivering Work Transfer & New Product Introduction and be primary interface for our customers leading all project planning and implementation activity.
? Agree targets relating to all programme management and ensure systems & processes are in place to deliver against these agreed objectives
? Work with customers, stakeholders & MXM team to ensure timely availability of supporting documents, resources, equipment, materials etc. supporting project requirements
? Organize project review meetings and action planning and ensure we have effective & timely communications with key customers
? Act as a key contact for customers and potential customers and will use this influence to promote MXM and support business development opportunities
? Ensure team implement robust risk management processes relating to all programme management activities.
? Be a member of Customer Service Council promoting CS culture across the site thru CI/MPS

1. Adherence to Project Timescales & Budgets (Key Milestone Achievement vs. Plan)
2. Development of New Opportunity (Work Transfer & New Product Introduction Programmes)
3. MPS Key Milestone Achievement vs. Plan
4. CI Council Objective Achievement (100% on plan)
5. Annual Cost Saving Achieved
KEY LEADERSHIP/MANAGERIAL COMPETENCIES:
1. Proven Project Management skills and customer focused spirit
2. Strong Leadership, Communication & Influencing skills.
3. Relentless driver of change with very strong CI/Lean background
4. Strategic thinker but with hands on approach and results orientated
5. Strong self-driven and self-motivated individual confident managing internally & externally
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial, or equivalent technical field. Program/Project Management certification preferred.
2. 10 years + manufacturing, quality, lean manufacturing knowledge and experience.
3. Demonstrated experience with productions transfer; Working experience on international project is preferred
4. Lean Expert certifications as defined in Industry criteria equating to excellent lean manufacturing teaching and observation skills. Ability to teach and describe excellence
5. Demonstrated experience in driving functional excellence Initiatives
