Responsibility:


Industrialize products
•Work together with HQ NPD team in phases 2-3 to give technical input
•Execute the delegated responsibilities assigned by the global lead engineer.
•Technical responsible for the project output of the structural engineering team in Xiamen.
•Deliver new products to TMP according time, costs, cost price and required quality targets by executing engineering activities according the NPD processes.
•Perform tooling, validation and optimization activities, release drawings for production.
•Make /coordinate technical decisions as agreed with the HQ Lead Engineer and feedback technical decisions to the NL team.
Project management
•Lead a team of structural engineers to complete the project
•Coordinate with project manager to make and execute detail engineering activity plan for new product development
•Closely collaborate with PM, suppliers, sourcing and QA to assure engineering quality within the defined targets.
•Up to date status documents and report on BOT, technical log, product issues and risks
•Ensure good communication and aligned teamwork for the XM team with the HQ team
Engineers development
•Work together with XM engineering department managers
oConsult department managers for technical issues
oDiscuss people performance and give appraisal input (50%)

Requirement:
1.Education:
•Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering (major in design)
2.Experience:
•7 years industrial experiences, 5 years in designing, process, manufacturing & quality
•Working experience in an international company
•Experience with NPD in a team management role
3.Knowledge
•Familiar with FMEA & PPAP
•Process Planning for Fabrication assembly process
•Excellent understanding of the product and sub systems
•Excellent understanding of drawing and configuration management
•Excellent understanding of plastic components and injection process
•Understanding of Compliance, Quality, Sourcing and Production processes
4.Skills
•Communication in written and oral English is a must to this position. CET 6 or equivalent level
•Good interpersonal skills
•Good project management and communication skills
•Hands on experience with Solidworks

Bugaboo products are now available in over 50 countries
worldwide, both at selected retailers and in the ***********
web shop. In addition, Bugaboo opened its second flagship
store in Berlin in 2014, following the first mono-brand store in
Amsterdam’s city centre.
