Associate Director - Cost Management
? Associate Director - ready to manage large scale exciting projects
? Blue Chip Client based role - Shanghai location.

The role
? Through the provision of motivational leadership to our cost management/ quantity surveying consulting teams.
? Driving our on-site cost management team towards the achievement of deliverables, ensuring client needs are met and their expectations are well managed utilizing your exceptional client management skills.
? Turn agreed deliverables into objectives and work plans for the on-site team, and manage their time accordingly to ensure project commitments remain on track.
? Overall management of the on-site resourcing needs, and to leverage the current position to expand the service provision.
? Be responsible for the overall management of the project.
? Chair regular project meetings, including meeting plans, agendas, production of minutes and action plans.
? Manage the timely delivery of tender documents, project cost reports, tender evaluations, cash flows, cost recommendations, financial evaluations and final accounts.
? Be the key point of communication with others.
Requirements
? Degree qualifications in Quantity Surveying or related discipline. Achievement of MRICS will be highly regarded.
? A minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience and the management of Cost Management Teams of up to 15 people.
? Previous experience in a Cost Management Consultancy environment, preferably gained in China.
? Mandarin and English language fluency.
? Previous experience delivering excellence in client outcomes and project deliverables on large-scale projects.
? Previous experience working on pharmaceutical/ research laboratory or similar projects will be highly regarded.
