Job Description
As DevOps System Engineer, you will become a high valuable player of DevOps team, who should be collaborating between development and operations staff throughout all stages of the development lifecycle when creating and operating a service.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Design and build operational infrastructure to support live online product.
Setup, deploy, monitor, and administer applications and underlying services or operates infrastructure platforms.
Deliver professional operational support to product team, aiding monitoring and optimization of existing products and processes. Support includes operation, monitoring and performance optimization to help teams to resolve issues.
Work with the development teams to identify and root cause constraints and implement process improvements related to these areas of responsibility.
Work with and enhance tools, operational processes to ensure smooth and consistent operations
Produce high quality systems documents.
Job Qualification
? BS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
? 3+ years Linux Administration working experience.
? Rich experience in High Availability implementation for cloud products.
? Strong background in Linux/Unix operation and administration.
? Experience with Container technology, familiar with tools such as Docker, Mesos, Kubernetes.
? Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
? Familiar with automation technique, have experience with ansible or chef.
? Programming skill in Shell, Groovy or other scripting languages;
? Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud infrastructure services (e.g. Cloud Foundry, AWS, Aliyun).
? Should be a self-starter, quick learner; capable of setting priorities and remain efficient while multi-tasking.
? Excellent communication skills in English (both written and oral) across multiple teams is a required. Clear mind, ability to break down complexity and communicate things in a clear manner.
? Team work and be able to work independently and manage time effectively.
