职位描述
Responsibilities:
- Leader of Engineers for Engineering Development and Design for Automotive Interior Systems.
- Coach and Mentor young Engineers with daily Engineering assignments.
- Create Bill of Material within the Request for Quotation process, Materials, Manufacturing Process (tooling, equipment, and fixtures), Test Requirements, etc.
- Lead the development of the Technical Review and Technical Assessment documentation.
- Present Technical Review and Technical Assessments presentation with Sales, Engineering Manager and Customers.
- Develop Design Validation (DV) and Production Validation (PV) test plans. Support Engineers with DV and PV test plan development.
- Insure Engineering designs meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS), specifically FVMSS 201/208 Occupant Safety Regulations. Consult Advanced Engineering Technical Lead for FVMSS Regulations.
- Define Finite Element Analysis (FEA) study requirements, interpret FEA results, and insure results are incorporated in the Product Design.
- Execute Benchmarking study using A2MAC1 or comparable software tools
- Engineering Lead in Engineering Development:
? Develop Engineering solutions/proposals per customer/SOR requests and communicate with Engineering Manager and customer.
? Prepare Engineering Development Deliverable for review meetings Engineering Manager.
? Track Open Issues and Resolution and Engineering Changes
- Review and implement Lesson’s Learned Best Practices for all Engineering Development, confirm Engineers are referencing Lessons Learned Best Practice Database and applying Best Practices.
- Engineering Lead during Development into Product Design:
? Communicate with Designer the Engineering and Design intended solution and timing.
? Prepare and schedule Design review meetings with Engineering Manager and Customers.
? Track and Resolve Open Issues and Design Changes.
- Responsible for System Integration for all Parts/Components included carryover, purchased and designed parts/
- Create and maintain DFMEA during Engineering Development and Design, support Engineers with DFMEA execution.
- Develop Dimensional Strategy:
? Preform Root Sum of Squares (RSS) Analysis for Customer Critical Interfaces.
? Define Datum’s and Datum coordination
? Define Assembly and Component level GD&T including KPC’s (if required)
? Define Measurement Plan – CMM measurement point.
- Set up SOR/CTS for outsourced components.
- Responsible for Product Validation (DV) and Production Validation (PV) test plan execution.
- Coordinate the prototype events and Lead issue identification and resolution.
- Support manufacturing development, resolve product design issues and execute the necessary engineering changes.
- Summarize the lesson learned for Engineering Development and Design for the project.
- Support Sales Department with customers VAVE requirements.
- Insuring the highest Quality of Engineering Development and Design solutions, before they reach the customer.
Qualification:
Education:
◆ Bachelor degree or above, major in Engineering.
Training background:
◆ Certifications: Engineering, Automotive or Manufacturing
Work experience:
◆ At least 5 years’ experience in Automotive Engineering for interior systems Development and Design.
◆ At least 5-8 years’ experience as a Leader in an Engineering department.
Skills/knowledge:
◆ Knowledgeable in Computer Aided Engineering (CAE),
◆ Knowledgeable in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
◆ Knowledgeable with Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG), specifically Automotive Manufacturing Standards
◆ Knowledgeable with Manufacturing processes: Injection Molding, Leather Wrapping, Paint and Assembly operations
◆ Knowledge of typical Interior part manufacturing processes of the components and assemblies
◆ Knowable in TeamCenter or similar Data Management systems
◆ Experience with Passenger Side Airbags (PAB)
English skill
◆ Good command in oral and written English
◆ Good communication skills
Computer Skills
◆ Good PC skill in MS office software such as Word ,Excel, PowerPoint, Project.
◆ User capable in AutoCad, UG, ProE and CATIA software (2D and 3D CAD)
