Responsibilities:
1.Monitoring the Baseline Forecast against Order Book and Customers’ Forecasts and working with Sales to resolve significant issues
2.Working with Sales and Marketing to capture, document, and adjust the forecast to reflect changes in future demand patterns due to gaining/losing market share, new product launches, event buys, etc.
3.Constraining the forecast in alignment with Customer Supply Priority Guidelines and SI&OP Demand Creation Guidelines
4.Identifying and communicating where and how much the aftermarket needs to reduce inventory replenishment based on demand creation
5.Identifying where demand shaping with customers needs to take place by the Front Ends based on the results of demand creation
6.Providing miscellaneous analytical support to the SI&OP process
7.Providing capacity analysis for potential new business that represents significant volume for a Supply Chain Family
8.Monitoring and analyzing forecast accuracy and bias
9.Helping create SI&OP meeting pre-reading materials
10.Creating and applying phase in profiles for new product launches and phase out profiles for RNR, obsolescence, and products migrating from the OE to AM
11.Updating “ship from” items when it changes due to being resourced
12.Modeling potential new business and understanding its impact on capacity
13.Performing supercession and realigning demand history when items are rationalized or when an item partially or fully replaces another item
14.Updating customers and “ship to” descriptions as Timken gains new customers or mergers occur
15.Actively participating in the structured and results-drive process to improve forecast accuracy over time

Requirements:
1.Bachelor's degree on Operations Research or Statistics .
2.At least 3 years' experience in logistics/operations or production/manufacturing environments.
3.Excellent office and people skills, exposure to the complexities of global business, and experience in multi-tasking, prioritizing, and making decisions are required.
