Logistical/Cost Claim Management Service Content
The claim management supporter is responsible for the imported parts claim management. The main tasks of claim management supporter shall include:
? Providing a central point of contact and coordinator for Logistical-claims (missing/wrong/damaged) at the plant concerning import deliveries
? Conducting an expert assessment and liaising with internal and external suppliers (different departments like QM and Packaging Planning, logistics service providers, forwarding companies…):
? Imported purchased parts and in-house parts supplied
? Entering the complaint in the IT-System and approving it:
? Loop 1: Receiving and analyzing of claims from plant
? Loop 2: Placing the claims to internal and external suppliers and coordinate claim process until claims are closed
? Coordinate containment activities at plant and clean up pipeline
? Verify suppliers 8D reports
Recommended Staff-Requirements:
? Estimated expected number of onsite staff: In total 4 staff, for all plants and all car models.
? Recommended Seniority and skill/experience requirements:
? Fluent English (German not mandatory)
? Education: Quality Engineer
? Self-responsible work attitude, able to handle strong discussions with customer and escalation situations
? Experienced with international counter-parts
Expected KPI-Fulfillment:
? Claim finalization latest within 6 weeks (otherwise escalation)
? Average Claim finalization processing time 5 working days
? Close tracking of 5 days feedback-time for suppliers and logistics service-providers from Germany
? Support the yearly PPM target of 250 PPM by strong root-cause-analysis and strong follow-up-work for countermeasure-fulfillment
? Reasonable Claim-Rejection-Rate (16% in the last three years). If clearly higher value, implementation of counter/measures together with customer.
