职位描述
Major Job Responsibilities
? Responsible for new product application project developing for foundation brake products (caliper, drum-in- hat, drum brake, rotor, booster, master cylinder, etc.).
? Works as primary contact for customer engineering relationship and represent BWI Application Engineering in all cross-functional teams at the customer
? Develops detail designs by following design guideline library and issuing work order to designer team
? Leads vehicle demonstrations and prototype builds
? Plans and manages validation activities, organizes test work packages by issuing work order to lab, in support of program milestones (e.g. design verification tests to support drawing release, product validation testing to support production part approval process) and publishes required reports.
? Creates and maintains the product developing binders, update lesson learned and new knowledge to design guideline library
? Releases design record into system by following change management requirement
? Provides product expertise to other functions (e.g. sourcing, problem solving etc.)
Major Job Qualifications/Specific Skills (Required/preferred)
? Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or related field, major in auto engineering preferred
? 3-5 year experience in automotive product engineering, experience on same products preferred
? Good knowledge about product developing process
? Leadership as a cross function team
? Knowledge on project management is plus
? Good communication and presentation skill
? Fluent English for both oral and written
